This Website Cookie Policy explains how ARTIFACTS LLP ("ARTIFACTS", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and
similar browser technologies on artifacts.software and the ARTIFACTS product, support, legal, and campaign
pages hosted under that domain (together, the "Website").
Current position at a glance
- We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking pixels on the Website.
- The Website is hosted with Framer and uses Framer's built-in, privacy-first analytics. Framer states that this analytics service is cookieless and does not rely on persistent identifiers.
- We have not intentionally enabled non-essential cookies in the Website's current configuration.
- Strictly necessary storage may still be used when required to deliver a page, protect the Website, remember a privacy choice, or provide a feature you request.
- If we later add a non-essential cookie, advertising pixel, cookie-based analytics tool, or third-party embed that requires consent, we will update this Policy and obtain consent before activating it where required.
- Merely continuing to browse is not treated as consent to non-essential cookies.

2. Scope
This Policy applies across the ARTIFACTS Website, including the main studio pages and any ARTIFACTS product, support, campaign, and legal pages hosted under artifacts.software. It automatically covers new product webpages added under that domain without requiring us to publish the product roadmap here.
This Policy does not govern:
- native mobile, desktop, or other installed applications, except when an app opens an ARTIFACTS webpage;
- information stored inside an app using device storage, secure storage, SDKs, databases, or similar technology that
is not a browser cookie;
- a third-party site or account page opened from our Website or from an app, such as Apple, Google, Amazon
Kindle, Instapaper, RevenueCat, or a social network; or
- an independently controlled domain that does not link to this Policy.
The ARTIFACTS Privacy Policy explains broader website data handling. Each product may also have a
product-specific privacy policy describing its app data practices.
3. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks a browser to store on a device. A cookie can last only for the current browser session or remain until a stated expiry date or deletion. First-party cookies are associated with the domain you are visiting. Third-party cookies are associated with another service loaded through the page.
Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, software-development-kit identifiers, and server-side event measurement. Some of these technologies do not place a cookie but can serve comparable purposes. This Policy uses "cookies" as a convenient collective term where the context allows, while identifying the Website's cookieless analytics separately.
4. The Website's current configuration
4.1 Framer hosting and delivery
The Website is built and hosted using Framer. The browser requests page code, fonts, images, and other assets from Framer and its content-delivery infrastructure. Framer and its infrastructure suppliers may process ordinary connection information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information, response status, and security signals.
This technical processing does not mean that ARTIFACTS has enabled advertising cookies. A strictly necessary cookie or storage item may be used if Framer needs it for security, load balancing, fraud prevention, or a feature you request. Such technology is limited to the necessary purpose and is not used by ARTIFACTS for behavioural advertising.
4.2 Framer Analytics
The Website currently loads Framer's built-in analytics script. Framer states that this analytics service does not use cookies or persistent visitor identifiers and does not require a cookie banner by itself. It provides aggregate or estimated website measures such as:
- live and daily visitor counts;
- page views, entry pages, exit pages, and 404 pages;
- approximate session duration and bounce rate;
- referring source and campaign parameters included in a visited URL;
- requested page;
- approximate country; and
- broad device, browser, and operating-system category.
Because the service is cookieless, a returning visitor may be counted again on another day or device. ARTIFACTS uses these measures to understand which pages work, find broken routes, assess campaigns, and improve the Website. We do not combine this website analytics information with Pageling highlights, Momentum data, or private content from another ARTIFACTS app.
4.3 Current cookie inventory
As of the effective date, ARTIFACTS has not intentionally configured any first-party or third-party non-essential cookie on the Website. In particular, our current published page code does not include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or a comparable advertising or session-replay tracker. The Website therefore does not currently maintain a list of named advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, the consent interface and this Policy will identify the relevant provider, purpose, cookie or technology, and typical duration before or when it is activated.
5. Categories of technology we may use
5.1 Strictly necessary
These technologies are required to provide a page or feature you request, route traffic securely, prevent abuse, maintain accessibility, remember a privacy choice, or keep a requested session working. The Website may use them without optional consent where law permits because the requested service cannot reasonably operate without them. Strictly necessary technology will not be repurposed for behavioural advertising.
5.2 Functional preferences
Functional storage can remember an optional choice such as language, appearance, region, or media setting. The current Website does not intentionally set a general functional-preference cookie. If we introduce one, we will explain the feature and provide any choice required by law.
5.3 Analytics and performance
The current Framer Analytics configuration is cookieless as described in Section 4.2. If we later add cookie-based analytics, heat maps, session replay, or persistent measurement, we will first assess whether consent is required. Where it is, the technology will remain disabled until you opt in and you will be able to withdraw that choice.
5.4 Marketing and advertising
The Website does not currently use advertising cookies or pixels. We do not currently use Website cookies to build advertising profiles, retarget visitors on other sites, or measure cross-site behaviour.
If we later run a campaign using technology such as Meta Pixel, Google advertising tags, or another advertising network, we will not activate the non-essential technology for a visitor who requires prior consent until that visitor opts in. The consent interface will identify the category and provider and will offer a reasonably equal way to reject it.
6. Embedded media, forms, and third-party services
A future page may include a form, video, social post, scheduling tool, payment page, app-store badge, or other third-party feature. Opening or interacting with such a feature can allow that provider to receive technical information or set its own cookies. Whenever reasonably possible, we will use a privacy-preserving link or a consent-gated embed instead of loading a non-essential third-party tracker automatically.
An ordinary link does not itself give ARTIFACTS control over cookies placed after you leave our Website. Review the third party's policy before using its service. If an embedded feature is necessary for a transaction or request, we will describe that context at the point of use.
7. Consent and changing your choice
Strictly necessary technology does not normally require optional consent. Non-essential technology will be offered on an opt-in basis where applicable law requires it. If a consent banner becomes necessary:
- non-essential categories will be off until the required choice is made;
- rejecting will be as clear and reasonably accessible as accepting;
- categories will be explained rather than bundled into a vague permission;
- the choice will not be inferred merely from scrolling or continued browsing; and
- a "Cookie settings" or similar control will let you withdraw or change the choice prospectively.
Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. A strictly necessary record may remember the privacy choice so the Website does not repeatedly ask the same question.
At present, the Website does not display a cookie banner because its configured analytics is cookieless and no non-essential cookie has been intentionally enabled. This should be reassessed before publishing any new integration or tracking script.
8. Browser and device controls
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and clear local or session storage. The controls are commonly found under Privacy, Security, Site Data, or Cookies in browser settings. Blocking all storage may prevent a requested login, form, preference, security control, or embedded feature from working.
Browser controls do not necessarily stop cookieless, aggregate measurement or erase information already
processed. They also do not control a third-party account independently maintained by Apple, Google, a social platform, or another provider.
If the Website later participates in an activity legally treated as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, ARTIFACTS will process recognised opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where applicable. The current Website does not sell personal data or use cookies for cross-context behavioural advertising.
9. Duration and retention
A session cookie normally expires when the browser session ends. A persistent cookie remains until its stated
expiry, it is replaced, or you delete it. If ARTIFACTS introduces a persistent non-essential cookie, the Website's
cookie settings or this Policy will state its typical duration.
Cookieless Framer Analytics information is retained according to the Website's Framer plan and Framer's applicable terms. ARTIFACTS retains company-level analytics only for a proportionate period needed to understand traffic and improve the Website. Security logs and consent-choice records may be kept longer when reasonably needed to protect the service, demonstrate compliance, or resolve a dispute.
10. Changes to the Website or this Policy
We may update the Website, its hosting, and this Policy. Before adding a materially different non-essential tracking purpose, we will update the relevant disclosure and obtain fresh consent where required. The "Last updated" date identifies the current version.
Removing an old Momentum-specific cookie page does not remove any rights. The company-wide Policy should replace it, and the old address should redirect to the current ARTIFACTS Website Cookie Policy so existing links continue to work.
